Hot off the press! Having reached our target of £7,500 at a record rate we have been given the opportunity to match fund a further £5,000 which match funded would mean a total of £17,500. This exciting news would enable St Barbe to develop an educational programme about the Celtic and Iron Age periods in the New Forest.
In 2018 there was an exciting discovery: a hoard of nearly 300 coins from the late Iron Age were found buried in the muddy ground, not too far from St Barbe.
To secure and display this wonderful Celtic Hoard at St Barbe, we’re taking part in The Big Give 2021, which runs for one week only from 30 November to 7 December.
This is a great campaign, because every single donation you make to us via The Big Give will be match funded. That means your £5 is worth £10 / £10 is worth £20 and so on.
