 We are an exceptionally family-friendly museum with many hands-on opportunities for children. Problem-solving, finding hidden contraband, a pilot boat to navigate, toys and dressing up are just part of the activities on offer. Trails for all ages are available free for exploring the displays.
Activities, including Spot the Picture, are offered with our temporary exhibitions programme.
We aim to make families comfortable with plenty of places to sit and talk, baby-changing facilities, a potty and a step for children to be able to see exhibits better.

 Events
Every school holiday offers fun opportunities for families of all ages to try out new art and craft opportunities at our popular events. In addition, some Saturday events mean that there is always something to look forward to at St Barbe Museum.
These are normally available 10.00-1.00 and 2.00-4.00.
A small donation may be requested to cover costs of crafts materials for some activities.
