Summary: slide, coloured photograph of Lord French in rectangle, with text 'Lord French our gallant first commander in chief' hand written in yellow. Identification note: glass slides made of two sheets of glass, one plain and one printed, held together with black tape binding around edges. Some slides have come apart and only the printed sheet survives

Identification note: acquired by the donor on the closure of the Lyric Cinema in 1963. The donor was a neighbour of Stan Porter, one of the new proprietors.
