Summary: fossil, scute (plate) from a fossil turtle shell, species Trionx Barbarae,(same date as fossil turtle shells from Barton Cliffs). Eocene

Identification note: Found by the donor on Yarmouth beach. Species called Barbarae after the Marchioness of Hastings.
