Identification note: donor's father was Ernie Rickman (1902-1948), long time local family. Father started a garage in Ashley in 1920's and was also a speedway motorcyclist. He set up garage at Ashley Cross in 1930 and built a small shed. Then started haulage company Rickman Transport. C1947 aircraft hanger was erected (still there). Her brother Derek started garage in Old Milton Road - well-known motor cyclist.
