Summary: bw postcard of ceremony conducted at the war memorial beside St Thomas's Church, Lymington, Lymington and Pennington, Hampshire, probably the 1920s

Identification note: Lymington men fought in all theatres of the First World War and more than 80 gave their lives for their country. Their names are inscribed on the war memorial cross by St Thomas’s Church. This was unveiled by Rev Charles Bostock on Easter Sunday 1921 before a gathering of several hundred people.
