Summary: deed, 4pp photocopy of assignment of the mortgage taken out on the rights of the Lymington Ferry between Robert L Badcock, mortgagor, and George Crouch of Arundel, West Sussex, mortgagee, following the death of George Crouch, the assignment made by his executors to Edward Badcock of 40 High Street, Lymington, Lymington and Pennington, Hampshire, part of a collection of title deeds relating to Old Ferry House, then known as Pierside, Walhampton, Boldre, Hampshire, dated April 1899

Summary: Crouch originally lent 800 pounds to Alfred Jobling: he then took possession of the ferry, put it up for sale, bought himself for 1080 pounds, sold it for the same sum to Robert Badcock, and then lent Badcock 800 pounds secured, as before, on the ferry. George Crouch died 26.10.1898.
