Summary: George Foster St Barbe, son of Charles and Mary and father of Charles junior, was born 1808. George Foster St. Barbe (1809 - 1871) who by 1851 was living at 48 High Street (now Moore Blatch). He continued the family banking business, inherited from his father and grandfather (both Charles St. Barbe). He was also a director of the Lymington Railway Company which financed the opening of the branch line in 1858.
