Identification note: GP Collins (donor's grandfather) set up a brick kiln in Stem Lane at turn of the 19th/20th century. Originally from Cornwall. Lived in various houses in New Milton. Built Trevone in Herbert Road, now demolished,also lived in what is now police station in Old Milton Road and in Ashley Road, see also associated cuttings about plan to develop the war memorial grounds.
