Summary: De accession. Postcard, scanned, black and white, Milton Rectory, postmarked 22.9.1930. Hard copy 2011.71.26

Identification note: credit to the Cheney/Corbin Collection

Identification note: Milton Rectory with its ornamental lake and mature trees was built by the Rev Thomas Robinson, who was vicar of Milton Parish from 1875-97. As his wife was a keen horse rider, who hunted regularly with her groom in attendance, he built extensive stable blocks alongside the house which are visible on the map but have since been disappeared along with the lake.
