Summary: potsherd, 3 sherds of a large open pan with thick rim, pale pink fabric and olive green glaze inside, found in old rubbish dump excavated during construction of new porch for the St Barbe Museum, New Street, Lymington, Lymington and Pennington, Hampshire, and pre-dating the building of the school on the site in 1835

Summary: Only wall lines were dug, the rest of the dump remained undisturbed. The black soil may be from ash or an earth closet.
