Summary: badge, shoulder flash, design of inverted red triangle within black triangle, worn by member of the WVS attached to 3rd Infantry Division in Palestine in late 1940s. Not Lymington so sent to HCT 1990s

Identification note: As so many men were away fighting, women took on new roles. ‘Land Girls’, who worked in the Women’s Land Army, helped to keep farms running and provide Britain with food. The Women’s Voluntary Service was formed in 1938 to assist local government in whatever way was needed. Their slogan was ‘The WVS never says No”.
