Summary: Man believed to be an uncle with a broken leg.

Identification note: Mr H C Ward bought the house in 1884, extended it, building stables and adding to the estate. On his death in 1909 his daughter Mrs Reynolds lived there but in 1921 his other daughter Mrs Cowie and her husband General Cowie settled in the house. These photographs date to the time when Mr Ward was living at the Yeatton, with visits from his daughters and grandchildren.
