Identification note: In 1922 Gen Marsh bought the Pinewood Estate, Hordle and moved in in March 1923. His widow Ursula sold it in 1961 to run as a nursing home, it was demolished and developed in 1964/5. Gen Marsh was instrumental in getting a district nurse for Hordle, her cottage was at the end of Stopples Lane.
