Sunday 17 September

10am – 4pm | Live Music | Packed programme | FREE!

There is a full programme of activities through-out the weekend including live music on our terrace featuring acoustic sessions by local musicians, enjoy a coffee and soak up the atmosphere.

Visitors can have a go at a free craft activity; upcycle and embellish fabric to make your own creation or make a nature crown to wear, our volunteers will be on hand to guide your imagination. How about contributing to our community art installation? Let’s see if we can make our best collective mural yet – you don’t have to be arty to take part!

Our new exhibition ‘Parallel Lives, Eight Women Artists’ will open on Saturday; covering a range of media, the women drew selectively on art movements including surrealism, neo-romanticism, realism, folk art and abstraction.  Join our curator for a special insight into this unique exhibition which includes works from private collections as well as London galleries.

Come and enjoy all St Barbe has to offer, watch out for our storyteller, stilt walker and bubble master who will be making magic happen. Such a lot is going on, the good news is it’s FREE, you can come in as many times as you want!

Inspire Weekend is part of the Heritage Open Days.
