Description

Summary: slide, white lettering on black background, decorative borders to left and right: 'Ministry of Information. What we are fighting for:- "To prevent the enslavement of all mankind.' A yellowish substance applied to front of slide over 'Ministry of Information' and a green one over borders, probably to make them appear coloured when projected. Binding on one edge missing; maker's label missing.

Identification note: glass slides made of two sheets of glass, one plain and one printed, held together with black tape binding around edges. Some slides have come apart and only the printed sheet survives.

Identification note: acquired by the donor on the closure of the Lyric Cinema in 1963. The donor was a neighbour of Stan Porter, one of the new proprietors.
