Description
Summary: photograph, postcard, aerial view of Keyhaven, Milford-on-Sea, Hampshire
Summary: Commander Bradyll-Johnson (1897=1981) lived 1944=1981 at 6 Park Lane, Milford-on-Sea, built in 1935 by his parents, the Rev Bradyll-Johnson, former vicar of St Clement's, Oxford, and Mrs Bradyll-Johnson. The house was demolished 1990.
Identification note: Aerial photograph of Keyhaven in the 1930s. Keyhaven was still very undeveloped. Captain Adams boatyard is on the left hand side. What is now the car park and sailing clubs was still scrub land, and the two sailing clubs have yet to be built. A few cars are parked as a herald of what is to come. The tollgate cottage is still in place on the harbour edge.
