Identification note: This was where the present fish and chip shop is at the corner of Priestlands Road. The sign is for Ivy Florence Orman (nee Smith, 1907 - 1984), Mrs Burrey’s (donor) mother. The family grew some vegetables themselves, getting the rest from Jack Ranulph of Brockenhurst. The shop closed in April 1968.
