Description

Summary: letter, typed from Rolls Royce Ltd, Derby. 25 January 1934, re. using Wellworthy piston rings. Signature now faded away - but was a technical production engineer. One page 20 x 25cm. Stuck to same size card.

Identification note: part of collection of testimonial letters sent to Wellworthy in 1930s, with one telegram and one letter from John Howlett. Formerly loan 1997.1. All these were in a ring binder in old plastic sleeves; now taken out, file discarded and put in new sleeves. (originally described as in an album). Later put on Modes as 1998.296.43.

Identification note: Paper now pale buff. Has been framed.
