Art in Bloom will run alongside our Open Exhibition for three days.
We have invited talented local floral artists to interpret a piece of artwork from the Open, reflecting the colours and shapes within the artwork, adding a new dimension to the exhibition, using their imagination, talent and flowers.
Eleven Open artists have been chosen to have a floral tribute designed of their artwork. This includes an artwork from the Young Artists which will be interpreted in a floral homage by our Young Curators who enjoyed a demonstration and advice from florist Elaine from Floral Fleurtations.
This is a new event for St Barbe although it is popular overseas, we believe it is the first of its kind in the UK!
