Money Raised Total
£30,000 of TARGET £30,000

The Boldre Hoard Campaign has hit the £30k target - thanks to everyone who donated!

"I am so excited that the Boldre Hoard will be staying here in the new forest where it belongs. The museum will be able to do it justice thanks to the amazing amount of money raised in this campaign. Thanks to everyone who got involved!" Dan Snow.

St Barbe Museum & Art Gallery can now purchase the Roman coin hoard from the British Museum and bring them back to Lymington.
Work will now begin to conserve the 1,608 coins and the original pot they were discovered in. The coins will be interpreted and displayed as a highlight of the new-look venue when it re-opens this summer.
